Hi, the picture quality is not really good (in my use case). I use the program to upscale a fullhd video. In the output you can see very clearly that the frames are decomposed into subframes, upscaled individually and then stiched back together. There is a visible border between the subframes. It almost looks like a grid has been put over the video. Is there a setting to improve this? So far I have tested RealESRGANx4_70% and RealESR_Gx4_70%
Hi my friend, this happens when frames can t be injected entirely in GPU VRAM. To avoid this problem, you can use two options:
- the Ai precisione widget choosing Half precision (this will reduce by 50% the VRAM used so is less probably that frames will be tiled )
- Resize % widget, this can be used tò resize frames before upscale, for example 1920x1080 -> default 70% -> 1344x756 then each frames are upscaled; so for example you can choose 50% It can help
hi i want to ask you, if say i buy the app, is there a way that i can modify the app by my liking such as editing the gui. Because right now im really interested to use this as my resource for my fyp

The free version made impressive work of the DVD version of "Beyond the Minds Eye" a particularly tricky title to upscale with 1992 CGI Animation. So I purchased the full version.
I definitely recommend anyone also looking to upscale some video - START HERE.

Please add the ability to turn off image resizing before upscaling, some encoding presets, and continue to tune performance.
Right now I can't quite recommend this over Waifu2x-extension-gui for more advanced users. If you need to use custom models, encoder settings, NVENC support, etc, go with that instead.

yes, the x265 is really heavy sadly. You can try x264 :)
It's more use CPU with 68% and my GPU is only 6%, how change that please ? Thanks
I think that the app is not using your gpu at all, can you try selecting Power Saving GPU?
